Campaign not to buying as intended

Here are the most common issues faced when a campaign is not buying as intended:

Creatives not audited, failed auditing or disapproved.

The most common issue faced is creatives not yet audited or that your creatives have for some reason been disapproved:

  • Landing page not functioning, 404.
  • Landing page not crawlable
  • Creative not meeting design requirements, for example missing 1px border around white background of the creative.
  • The ads contain the following: Pharma, gambling or alcohol.

Advertiser is "fresh on the market"

If the advertiser is doing there first programmatic campaign or hasn't bought on selected SSP as of this instance. They will most likely have to go through a specific set of mapping to be known to the SSP. For example to be able to buy on Rubicon the advertiser's URL needs to be mapped properly, until this stage is complete the bidding plans will only receive bids for Rubicon but will be unable to win.
